Jordan Thomas

Jordan Thomas is originally from Syracuse, NY. He grew up on the city’s north side and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy. After high school, Jordan attended Union College, in Schenectady, NY, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. While at Union, Jordan played football and lacrosse, eventually becoming captain of the lacrosse team and earning All-Conference honors his junior and senior years. Following college, Jordan lived in Washington, DC, and carried mail for the United States Postal Service.

Jordan began working at O’Brien Boyd, P.C., as a clerk during his second year of law school at the University of Buffalo. He received his Juris Doctor from UB in May 2006 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in February 2007. He has already begun handling a variety of cases for the firm and has secured several substantial arbitration awards for clients.

Outside the office, Jordan referees high school lacrosse with the Niagara Frontier Lacrosse Officials Association. He is an avid runner and this past April ran the Boston Marathon to raise money for children’s cancer research and treatment. He likes to travel and has made several cross country treks, as well as spending a summer in Ghana, West Africa. He also enjoys biking and quite often rides to work from his home in the City of Buffalo.
